Rainwater Harvesting for the Homeowner Event

Save the Date for the”Rainwater Harvesting for the Homeowner” on Tuesday, August 12  at 10am – 12 p.m. at the GBRA River Annex, 905 Nolan Street in Seguin.  The class is free and open to the public.

Class participants will learn about the benefits of rainwater harvesting and other conservation methods, as well as how to build an effective system.  Rainwater harvesting can provide an additional source of water and reduce contamination to surface water during storm events (storm event definition: when water falls from the sky, commonly called “rain”–rarely seen).

The class is free, but please  RSVP Ward Ling (Geronimo and Alligator Creeks Watershed Coordinator), so he can plan adequately.  Just call  (979) 845-6980 or email, [email protected].
