Encourage Your Garden Through the Cold Winter

It’s hibernation time for most gardens, plants, trees, and shrubs. Getting ready for Spring by nurturing roots during wet cold months is a good compliment to pruning. Scrape away mulch and dig down a little to check the moisture level around the root zone.  Wind and cooler temps can dry out plants, but chances are the soil’s a little damper than it was a few months ago.

Mulch it Up
